Night Adventure

Looking up at night sky, we are insignificant in front of the vast and unreachable galaxy. Our future, though also unreachable, is liftable provided one with uplifting vision. That thought invited me to suburb of Si valley for such night adventure, Almaden Valley.

Day of the Dead Dancer, San Jose

The Day of the Dead Celebration in San Jose each year is a colorful event including much dancing. To show the motion, I used a shutter speed of 1/10 second. This produced an image that is a mix of realism and abstraction that shows off both the color and the motion.

The intersection of technology and nature intrigues me and seeing them work together inspires me and this photo is the image I have when I think of everything I love about Silicon Valley.

Western Bluebird

Silicon Valley nature: The Western Bluebird, a hole nester, frequents open grassy areas near trees. From a perch, often near ground level, it sallies out to capture insects.
